She posted a $4,000 bond on Wednesday.
Her next court appearance is Jan. 30 before Judge Samuel Cappas.
When East Chicago Police responded at 4 a.m. Dec. 3 to the 3500 block of Block Avenue, they found the woman lying shot in the abdomen in the road.
The victim said she had just bonded the man with her out of jail and was giving him a ride. When they pulled up, Martinez arrived, too.
Martinez got out, opened the victim’s car door and started punching her. She then walked back to her vehicle, got a gun, hit the victim in the face with it, then shot her in the left abdomen.
Police found Martinez still there in her driver’s seat, and took the a black Glock 23 handgun she was holding.
