An unidentified man was discovered unresponsive in the water Thursday morning in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.
Shorty after 11 a.m., a man between the ages of 30 to 40 was discovered in the water in the 5600 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives were conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results.
