I wish to acknowledge the outstanding care that I recently received at Whitehall Rehabilitation Center in our own Deerfield.
As a 40-year internal medicine practitioner in Highland Park and Deerfield, I had 30 years exposure to Whitehall as I visited my patients who were temporarily treated there.
Last month, I found myself there after a hip fracture.
From the custodial staff to the doctors, things went smoothly.
The good outcome for my recovery was especially enhanced by the kind, attentive, caring nurses and therapists.
These heroes never get the acknowledgement they deserve
