St. Charles East and South Elgin make the biggest moves, while Aurora Christian enters the rankings.

1. Geneva 14-2 (1): Sophomore left-hander AJ Minderman throws a complete game in a 3-1 win over St. Charles North to take the DuKane Conference series.

2. Jacobs 11-3 (2): In a 6-0 win over Burlington Central, Belmont recruit Andrew Deegan gets hit by a pitch an Illinois High School Association record five times.

3. St. Charles East 11-4 (5): A walk-off squeeze bunt by Nathan Moline gives the Saints a 5-4 decision over Wheaton Warrenville South and the DuKane Conference series win.

4. West Aurora 13-5 (3): Oscar Alexander Jr. hits a walk-off two-run homer to give the Blackhawks a wild 10-9 nonconference win over Waubonsie Valley.

5. South Elgin 10-4 (8): Twin brothers Jacob and Nathan Robertson each hit homers in a 15-0 win over Fenton in the Storm’s home opener.

6. Yorkville 10-5 (7): Kamden Muell doubles twice in an 11-4 win over Glenbrook South as the Foxes shake off a 7-5 loss to Plainfield Central earlier in the week.

7. Hampshire 9-5-1 (4): Tyler Rubino hits a walk-off single and also homers for the Whip-Purs in a 4-3 win over Crystal Lake Central.

8. Bartlett 8-5 (9): Vince Yario works three scoreless innings and homers but the Hawks see their eight-game winning streak end with a 7-6 loss to Huntley.

9. St. Charles North 7-6-2 (6): Nolan Macholz and Brody Phelps each drive in three runs as North Stars rally to defeat defending Class 4A state champion Libertyville 9-8.

10. Aurora Christian 11-3 (NR): Preston Morel is off to a hot start for the Eagles, hitting .484 with three doubles, three homers and 19 RBIs.

Player of the Week

Illinois-Chicago recruit James Feigleson came through with a big week for St. Charles East. Over five games, the senior shortstop went 9-for-17 with six runs, five doubles, a homer and five RBIs.
