Lincoln-Way East, St. Laurence and Lemont make the biggest moves, while De La Salle joins the rankings.

2. Lincoln-Way East 12-4 (4): Solid behind the plate, Grace Duncan finds her feet in the batter’s box with a 4-for-7 week for the Griffins.

3. Lincoln-Way West 15-5 (2): With 27 RBIs for the Warriors, Seton Hill recruit Reese Cusack turns into one of the top producers of offense in the area.

4. Lockport 12-5-1 (3): Taylor Lane provides patience at the plate for the Porters. It results in 11 walks and just two strikeouts.

5. Beecher 11-0 (6): The Bobcats keep rolling along as Maddy Grooms is hitting a robust .565 with 10 RBIs.

6. St. Laurence 11-3 (8): Bella Pratscher hits game-tying home run in 5-3 victory over Providence and is batting .500 for the season.

7. Providence 15-4 (5): The Celtics take a pair of tough losses, but Ava Misch continues her hot hitting at 5-for-10 with four RBIs.

8. Lemont 12-4 (10): Jessica Pontrelli comes up big in two South Suburban Conference wins by going 5-for-7 with five runs and four RBIs.

9. De La Salle 15-3 (NR): At the midseason mark, Samara Agredano is putting up power-plus numbers with six doubles, five triples and eight home runs.

10. Evergreen Park 14-4 (7): Hannah Pikus hits game-winning home run against St. Ignatius and earns complete-game pitching win over St. Laurence.

Player of the Week

Junior pitcher/outfielder Mia Balta stars in two games for Lincoln-Way East, going 5-for-7 and hitting a game-deciding home run in an 8-6 victory over Lincoln-Way West. The Oakland commit also earns the pitching win in relief against the Warriors.
