PLAIN WHITE T’S, GYM CLASS HEROES TO PLAY ‘NIGHTMARE’
Plain White T’s and Gym Class Heroes will be taking the stage Friday, Oct. 16, on the first night of Nightmare on Chicago Street in downtown Elgin.
As the annual zombie-themed street fest expands to two days this year, the first night will be focused on a concert stage set up in a limited area before expanding to a larger footprint the next night for the traditional Halloween event, which includes live actors roaming the streets, staged shows, live music and other entertainment.
Friday night’s band lineup will be pop-punk band The Ataris, who will perform at 6 p.m., followed by Chicago indie rock band Plain White T’s, best known for the song “Hey There Delilah,” at 7:30 p.m., and rap rockers Gym Class Heroes, which had a hit with “Stereo Hearts,” at 9 p.m.
The music acts performing on Oct. 20 have not been announced.
