The Wolves jumped to a two-goal lead in the second period Friday night and held off a late attack by the Peoria Rivermen to stretch their season-high winning streak to nine games with a 3-2 victory at Carver Arena.
The Wolves’ streak is currently the longest in the AHL and is tied for the second-longest in franchise history. The Wolves remain three points behind the Iowa Stars, who hold the final playoff spot in the West Division.
