– Drive your car at Blackhawk Farms. The National Auto Sport Association Midwest chapter will give you the opportunity to find out what it can do April 15 and 16 at the racetrack in Rockton, near Rockford. No speed limits, no pedestrians, but best of all-no tickets. The association will supply an experienced racer to help guide you through the event. The fee is $189 for April 15 or $289 for both days. – The Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 2-4 will offer a Boating Skills and Seamanship class at Diversey Harbor Yacht Club from 7-9 p.m. beginning April 17. The nine-week class covers the basics of boat handling, engine and fueling safety, equipment, state and federal requirements, navigation rules and aids to navigation, knot tying, radio use and an introduction to piloting.
