Police have launched a death investigation after a male fell into Lake Michigan Tuesday night, authorities said.
The victim, whose identity and age were unknown, fell into the water in the 4900 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the Kenwood neighborhood just after 7:30 p.m., according to Chicago police.
The victim was recovered by CPD’s Marine unit and transported to UChicago Medicine in Hyde Park, where he was pronounced dead.
Calumet Area detectives were investigating.
