Walter P. Waninski, age 84, late of Hegewisch, entered into eternal life April 14, 2006. Dear father of Robert (Joan) Waninski of Carol Stream, IL; grandfather of Christy; fond brother of Loretta Waninski; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Stella; parents Michael and Stella; brothers, the late Theodore, Stanley, Fabian, Paul, John Waninski, Casimir and Michael Lesnieski; sister, Helen Plebanski; Carrie Kozlowski and Margaret Maluchnic. Visitation Friday, April 21, 2 to 9 p.m. at Sadowski Funeral Home, 13300 S. Houston Ave., Hegewisch. Funeral Saturday, 10 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Florian Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
