Q recently asked for your help in launching a dialogue about the role of modern grandparents. More than 150 of you have joined the conversation, sharing your thoughts and philosophies on everything from baby-sitting to overprotective parents to the importance of togetherness. But mostly you wrote to tell us how much joy you derive from your particular families — children, grandchildren, in-laws, the whole enchilada.
We think Inverness reader Judy Miller summed it up best when she wrote: “I believe in the saying going ’round the Internet: ‘Grandchildren are God’s gift to you for not killing your own kids.'”
