Dallas, age 86, of Chicago, beloved husband of the late Maria N. nee Kolettis; loving father of Aphrodite (John) Pantos, Helen (Christopher) Torchia, Effie (Nicholas) Psimos, Georgia (Constantine) Politis; devoted grandfather of 12; dear brother of Aphrodite (the late Emanuel)Demeur, Steve (Leta) Dallas and the late Metro Dallas; fond uncle of many.
Nick Dallas has been recognized for his contribution to the Manhattan Project; namely the first amount of plutonium metal produced at Los Alamos as well as the largest single buttons of the new element produced anywhere in the world.

Funeral Service 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Assumption Greek Church, 601 S. Central Ave., Chicago.
