What do you get when you cast Amy Sedaris and Chris Kattan in the same movie?
The directors of “Tanner Hall” are hoping for a comedic hit. Sedaris (“Strangers With Candy”) and Kattan (“Saturday Night Live”) will star in the indie feature, which started as an ill-fated TV pilot for UPN, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Hall” is described as a coming-of-age story set in a boarding school, the Reporter says. Four teenage girls navigate adolescence while the adults in their world — the parents and teacher — struggle with their own midlife hurdles.
The movie, with a budget of less than $10 million, is shooting in Rhode Island.
