The Chicago Sun-Times’ parent company has a new chief executive,
. Jeremy Halbreich, former general manager of the Dallas Morning News is the new chairman of Sun-Times Media Group Inc. and adds the title of interim chief executive officer.
He and two others were elected to the board after a proxy fight. He said the company’s current managers will remain in place to address the company’s financial woes.
