Father Ralph R. Mollan, pastor emeritus of St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Mt. Prospect, IL, died peacefully in his sleep on April 14, 2009, at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. He was 90 years old and a resident of Bishop Lyne Home in Palos Park, IL, at the time of his death.
Father Mollan is survived by his brother, Herbert, of Rockford, IL; sister,Sister Margaret Mary Mollan BVM in Dubuque, IA; nephew, Terry Mollan; great-nieces, Courtney Mollan-Kohlstedt and Lindsay Mollan; and great-nephew, Todd Mollan.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2009, at the Holy Family Villa, 12220 Will Cook Road, Palos Park, IL, followed by his interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
