The list of celebrities presenting at the Golden Globe Awards just got a little longer. Julia Roberts (from left), Jennifer Aniston and Mickey Rourke were added to the list, which includes Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, according to people.com. The awards show hosted by Ricky Gervais will air Jan 17.
Winehouse in trouble again
Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault after allegedly kneeing a man in the crotch. British media report that the singer struggled with a theater manager after heckling at a performance over the weekend.
Sarandon, Robbins over
Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have broken up. Publicist Teal Cannady said in a statement that the two actors separated over the summer after 23 years together. Sarandon, 63, and Robbins, 51, met while shooting 1988’s “Bull Durham.” They have two sons together.
The kid and Carrie
There’s karate chopping, killer heels, Chinese baddies and cupcakes — yep, it’s trailer time. Sneak peeks of “Sex and the City 2” and “The Karate Kid” remake are out. “Take off your jacket” appears to be replacing “Paint the fence” in “Kid” and Jackie Chan wears a goofy hat. In “SATC,” there are few clues to what this film actually is about, but at one point, the fab four is in the desert.
The Law of hotness
Jude Law isn’t quite on board with this “Hotson” nickname. “Mostly I was only hot because I was wearing those thick tweed suits, massive overcoats and hat and gloves,” Law tells The Associated Press about his role as Watson in “Sherlock Holmes.” “I was always the one perspiring on set.”
