Update: Nora Wallar has been found safe and is being reunited with her family, according to Glen Ellyn police.

Police in west suburban Glen Ellyn said today they are searching for a 21-year-old autistic woman who has been missing from her home since Sunday morning.

Nora Wallar left her parent’s Glen Ellyn home about 10 a.m. this morning. In an e-mailed press release, police said Wallar was wearing black yoga pants, a burgundy sweater and glasses with purple frames and was carrying a black purse. She stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds and has shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes.

In the release, police said that Wallar is autistic and that while she may appear otherwise, she is unable to care for herself.
