UPDATE: Juno (2638 N. Lincoln Ave.), which finally reopened, now has its own phone number (773-935-2000; previously, people were calling Jason Chan’s cell phone for reservations) and has joined Open Table.

The long wait is almost over.

Owner Jason Chan says that Juno (2638 N. Lincoln Ave.) will reopen on Sept. 17.

One of the best new restaurants of 2013, Juno was closed by a fire in January, and it has taken Chan and his partner, sushi master B.K. Park, months to rebuild. Chan joked last month that his restaurant had been closed longer than it had been open.

And now, finally, diners will be able to enjoy Park’s masterful sushi creations, along with an expanded menu of hot dishes that will feature a different protein each month.

Juno isn’t up and running on OpenTable (but it will be) and the restaurant’s phone line hasn’t been connected yet, but reservations are being accepted now by emailing jason@junosushi.com.
