Just read an interesting item. Even though it’s a small country, Israel has built plants that turn sea water into 55 percent of the fresh water they get. Both for consumption and irrigation of their desert areas, turning them into green farmland. It seems that now we’re experiencing a lot of the same problem. Here we are, prosperous and almost completely surrounded by oceans. I wonder why we can’t/don’t do the same to alleviate our current water problems, especially out West.

While watching the Sunday morning leftist talk shows resume from the prior week’s President Donald Trump “slamfests,” I see now that the failure of the health care bill is causing “liberal anxiety” over the impending collapse of Obamacare. Seems the Democrats were hell bent on thwarting Trump, but now they are faced with the very real folly of former President Barack Obama’s health plan…. hey progressives, the ball is in your court. In response to Red from Chicago, once in a while voters would like to see their elected officials appear on television. I would like to see what they are doing and what opinions they have on certain subjects. As for looking them up on Facebook, not all of us are computer literate. Anyway, Facebook blogs written by politicians are all one sided, you know patting themselves on the back for a job well done. I do not need to listen to that tripe.
