Car show: The 11th annual Meadowdale, Motorsports and Memories Car Show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 7 at Raceway Woods Nature Preserve in Carpentersville. The event is rain or shine. Tickets for spectators are free. At Route 31 and Huntley Road. Call 847-421-2891 or go to mirpa.org.
