Police were investigating Sunday after a Jet Ski collision near 31st Street Harbor left one man dead and a woman injured, officials said.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man was driving a Jet Ski with a 25-year-old woman on board when another Jet Ski driven by a 53-year-old man crashed into them.

The 27-year-old was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said, where he was pronounced dead.

The woman suffered minor injuries, police said, and was in good condition at University of Chicago Medical Center.

The 53-year-old male was not injured, according to police.
