A Milwaukee man is accused of shooting a person in the arm during a New Year’s Eve party in Aurora, officials said.
Cameron J. Sebastion, 23, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm, Kane County State’s Attorney’s officials said in a news release Wednesday.
Sebastion was attending a party in the 800 block of Huntington Drive in Aurora during the early morning of Jan. 1, officials said. He is accused of firing multiple shots from a handgun at three people, striking one person in the arm.
Aurora police said they received a call from the hospital that someone walked in with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim is now out of the hospital, officials said.
Sebastion appeared in bond court Tuesday, where his bail was set at $1 million.
He is due back in court on Jan. 19. He remains in custody in the Kane County jail.
