Evan Neumann, one of the suspected Jan. 6th insurrectionists, has been granted asylum by Belarus, the Russian puppet state loyal to Putin. This is no surprise, as the Russians attempted to aid Trump in both presidential elections, and it’s only logical they would help a like-minded individual. It’s surprising they don’t offer asylum to the Oaf-Keepers or the Clown-Boys for Trump. So fly all the Trump banners you want, and wear your MAGA hats. It won’t change the fact that a vote for Trump was a vote for Putin.

Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston, a Republican, said “urgent action is needed to protect competition in girls sports.” Too bad that Republicans don’t feel that way about girls making reproductive choices. Yes, women have worked hard for equal opportunities on and off the playing field. But more importantly, they have worked hard for control of their own bodies. So why are they “urgently” trying to take that equal opportunity away from them? The over arching Republican control freaks in our state are a threat to our democracy.

You just know that most, if not all, Republican senators are going to automatically vote against Kentanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. … The Senate, laughably calling itself “the world’s greatest deliberative body,” has become nothing but a partisan circus.

What is wrong with the leadership of Indiana? Who is this Sen. Mike Braun? Now he wants to ban interracial marriage? Hasn’t this state already been the laughingstock of this country long enough with these backward Republicans? Is Mike Braun trying to challenge Attorney General Todd Rokita for worst elected official of all time?

What we watched in the Supreme Court confirmation hearings was nothing more than performative politics. These Republicans didn’t really want answers to the questions they were asking, they just wanted the questions they were asking to be heard.

Alabama congressman and Senate candidate Mo Brooks is distancing himself from Trump as quickly as possible, and Trump is in turn distancing himself from Brooks, whom he once endorsed. Do the two of them sense that the Jan. 6th Commission is hot on the trail of their collusion?

Republicans are questioning Ketanjl Brown Jackson’s qualifications? Republicans rushed to force Amy Coney Barrett onto the Supreme Court with less than two years of private practice, she never tried a case, never argued an appeal, never argued before the Supreme Court, was only involved in civil cases never a criminal one and didn’t serve as a judge until 2017. Republicans don’t care about being qualified. They are just hypocrites.

The Trump-appointed judge who ruled in the bench trial of Cuoy Griffin, the leader of “Cowboys for Trump,” found him guilty of “trespassing,” but not guilty of “disorderly conduct,” and he has been released, claiming triumph for the “Stop the Steal” movement. These are the incredibly minor charges brought against this admitted insurrectionist? Prosecution of these January 6th seditionists is a sham and a disgrace,
