Watchful parents kept their eyes on children Saturday as the tots got fully absorbed in hunting for brightly-colored plastic Easter eggs during a Park District of Franklin Park event.

Breakfast with Bunny, held at North Park, 10040 Addison, Franklin Park, took place in chilly temperatures, but the appearance of the floppy-eared, cotton-tailed creature promised spring was coming.

Older children got to participate in a scheduled evening flashlight hike, but the littler ones were content with waves and hugs from the Bunny.
