Thank you, Democrats

If you’re a Democrat and find yourself complaining about rising gasoline prices, you might want to recall what President Obama’s energy secretary, Dr. Steven Chu, said back in 2008. Dr. Chu famously said, “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,” which means eight or nine dollars for a gallon of gas. It’s obvious that the Biden administration shares the Obama administration’s lack of concern for the impact of high gasoline prices on the average consumer. They hate fossil fuels in general, and oil in particular. So, I say to Dr. Chu, “Relax, man, we’re getting there.” As usual, thank you, Democrats.

No logic at all

A CNN headline said that “Britney Spears has lost her baby early in her pregnancy.” Wait, isn’t CNN one of the many left-leaning networks that’s always telling us that terminating a pregnancy is simply a woman’s choice? But suddenly the occupant of Brittany Spears womb, even early in her pregnancy, is a “baby?” It seems that if the mother wants the pregnancy, the occupant of her womb is a baby. That’s a very traditional view. But now, it’s only a “baby” if the mother wants it. If she doesn’t want it, it’s really nothing much at all. The logic of the left is no logic at all.

I’m confused

We got mail stating “Vote Yes” to help keep Warren High School competitive and strong. Are they referring to competitive administration salaries and lucrative never-ending pensions, or teachers and students? I’m confused.

Fighting back

The paper reported that change can happen. Beach Park D3 is fighting back. The board there must have common sense. Their union must have their teachers’ back. So why can’t D60 stand up? Support our students, teachers and parents. This superintendent and, yes, even the board does not support teachers and parents. Our district needs to challenge this board and superintendent. Take back those bonuses and put the money where it should be, in the hands of the teachers. Remember, 70% of your taxes go to D60.
