
The following items were taken from Lake Zurich Police Department reports and news releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Moving violation
Michael Peters, 26, of the first block of South Shaddle Avenue, Mundelein, was charged Feb. 5 with driving while license suspended, no valid registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following an incident near Route 12 and Bailey Lane. Peters is scheduled to appear in court March 3 in Mundelein.
Bernardo Casey, 42, of the 4000 block of West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, was charged Feb. 11 with driving on a revoked driver’s license and attempted possession of a controlled substance.
Outstanding warrant
Agshin Abbasov, 34, of the 500 block of Cypress Bridge Road, was arrested Feb. 9 on a failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence by the DuPage County Sheriff’s office. This followed an incident of a domestic disturbance at the 500 block of Cypress Bridge Road in Lake Zurich. Abbasov is scheduled to appear in court March 16 at the DuPage County Courthouse.
Susi Argudin, 50, of the 4600 block of South Prairie Street, Chicago, was arrested Feb. 11. Argudin on an outstanding warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance by the Will County Sheriff’s office. Argudin was transported to Waukegan.
Theft
There was a report of theft Feb. 10 in the 500 block of America Court.
There was a report Feb. 11 of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Hidden Creek Road.
Burglary to motor vehicle
There was a report Feb. 11 of burglary to a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Dunhill Drive.
There was a report Feb. 11 of burglary to a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Trailside Drive.
There was a report Feb. 11 of burglary to a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Beechwood Drive.
There was a report Feb. 11 of burglary to a motor vehicle in the first block of West Main Street.
Criminal damage to property
There was a report of criminal damage to property Feb. 11 in the 300 block of Telser Road. The complainant stated that this had also occurred on two other separate occasions. The damage has occurred over the past five months. The complainant did not report the first two incidents.
