The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:

  • A 36-year-old man from Broadview was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device and driving on a revoked license at 8:26 p.m. April 16 at Paxton Drive and North Route 59.
  • A 33-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of retail theft, battery, obstructing identification and resisting or obstructing a peace officer at 8:16 p.m. April 16 in the 2700 block of West 75th Street.
  • A 33-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on charges of harassment by telephone and criminal damage to property by means of fire or explosives at 11:35 a.m. April 17 in the 2700 block of Aurora Avenue.
  • A 21-year-old man from Romeoville was arrested on charges of driving without insurance, driving on a revoked license and driving on suspended registration at 11:03 p.m. April 17 at Plainfield Naperville Road and Hassert Boulevard.
  • A 19-year-old woman from South Elgin was arrested on charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license, unlawful use of cannabis by a driver and driving without insurance at 1:11 a.m. April 18 at Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue.
  • A 19-year-old man from South Elgin was arrested on one count each of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, not having a firearm owner’s identification card, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a passenger, knowingly possession a large capacity ammunition feeding device and two counts of defacing identification marks of a firearm at 1:11 a.m. April 18 at Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue.
  • A 19-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on a charge of resisting or obstructing a peace officer at 5:54 p.m. April 18 at 75th Street and South Route 59.
  • A 21-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on a charge of retail theft at 7:04 p.m. April 18 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
