The Park Ridge History Center is holding a military history day on May 16 in honor of Armed Forces Day.

According to a news release, visitors can relive military history and learn from history fans who will share their knowledge of U.S. military history from numerous history enthusiasts and collectors.

This will take place on the grounds of Prospect Park, next to the Park Ridge History Center, the release said. The History Center will also be open that day, and admission includes both the History Center and the Living History Event.

Admission: $5 for students, $10 for adults, $20 for families
