Reid McCollum, chair of the Democratic Party of DuPage County, was given a new two-year term. First Vice Chair Dianne McGuire and Treasurer Ilse Messner also were reelected.
Kevin Coyne, chairman of the DuPage County GOP, will retain his position for the DuPage County Republicans. Jeff Castle was elected as party secretary.

“We have a lot of work to do, but I’m confident that together we can win every single race across DuPage up and down the ballot this fall,” McCollum said in a news release.
In an email message, Coyne said he was honored to be reelected and grateful for the confidence Republicans have placed in him.
“As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: building unity, supporting our candidates and delivering results for voters throughout DuPage County,” his email message said. “There is important work to be done, and I am confident that together we are well-positioned to meet the moment.”
