Robert D. Paetow, age 64, of Homewood, beloved husband of the late Lorette M. Paetow, nee Samulionis; loving father of Brian (Gretchen Beetner) Paetow and Michelle (Patrick Fanning) Paetow; dear son of the late Loretta and Arthur Paetow; cherished grandfather of Emma, Mary Kate, Patrick and Charlie; dear friend to many.
Devoted teacher at St. Margaret’s of Scotland Catholic School.
Visitation Monday, Oct. 22, 4 to 9 p.m. at theRyan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Highway in Homewood.
Mr. Paetow will lie in state on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret’s of Scotland Church, 9837 So. Throop St. in Chicago.
Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Margaret’s of Scotland School, AIDS Foundation of Chicago or the Jennifer S. Fallick Cancer Support Center in Homewood would be appreciated.
