Mike Pence is such a tool. He’s going to refuse to testify against somebody who tried to get him to violate the Constitution, and then when that failed, tried to get him killed? What a spineless wimp.
It is funny that conservatives are trying to ban trans people, but sadly they look the other way when it comes to the real proven child predators. Religious leaders including priests have been found guilty of engaging in predatory behaviors and sexual assaults on children, yet the conservative right is laser focused on banning gays and transgender people. This behavior by so called conservatives is bizarre in my opinion.
Mike DeWine, Governor of Ohio, many residents have been displaced by the recent train derailment and have nowhere else to go other than temporary lodging. You will tell them when it’s safe to return to their homes. Will you please volunteer to be a guest in the home of one of the residents and live with them for a couple of weeks to prove how safe it will be? Please start with a glass of water from the kitchen sink. Have the press cover it.
A special counsel has been appointed to investigate the discovery of classified documents at Joe Biden’s home. No special counsel has been appointed to investigate the discovery of classified documents at Mike Pence’s home. And why is that? Just Merrick Garland not wanting to be “too political,” and in the process, being “too political”?
In Wednesday’s P-T, the article about NIPSCO petitioning to raise rates said that they want to raise rates in 3 phases, but then said they would deduct the cost of coal-related costs from their billing as they transition over to solar and wind. The savings to John Q. Public? A whopping $6/month! But wait, the liberal tree-huggers said that wind and solar would bring our energy costs way down. You mean, the difference between reliable, always-on coal-fired power and constant outages due to calm, cloudy, snowy days is a measly 6 bucks?! Liberals got snookered again, and took us all with them.
You won’t believe this. Then again, yes you will. Former President Trump as a part of his campaign platform says he plans to “Save American education and give power back to parents by cutting off federal funds for any school promoting…inappropriate racial, sexual or political content onto our children.” Wow! Can you believe a man of his sordid character would be talking about teachers like this? Has he ever paused and reflected on his own racial, sexual and political shenanigans? I would say Trump and George Santos should be the first two inducted into a Hall of Shame. However, they wouldn’t qualify because they have no shame!
Benjamin Netanyahu is stepping up to “reform” (as in “take over”) the very same Israeli system of justice that has charged him with corruption and put him on trial. What a convenient way to have charges against yourself dismissed. No wonder this wannabe dictator and Trump are such great friends. Netanyahu is doing exactly what Trump wanted to do in the U.S. If he is elected again, then what?
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is making the same mistake that a lot of Republicans make these days, of thinking that if something is “common,” it is therefore “normal.” There is a lot in the attitudes and behavior of Republicans that is common, but it is by no means normal. What we see, commonly, are bigotry, white supremacy, hatred of immigrants, belief in conspiracy theories galore, unfounded accusations of voter fraud along with refusal to accept the result of elections. Unless they win. And the list goes on. There is very little that’s normal about the current crop of Republicans.
