Alfonso Soriano makes his return to the Cubs lineup this afternoon in the finale of the four-game series against Milwaukee.
Soriano returned Wednesday night and struck out on three sliders while pinch-hitting for Carlos Zambrano. He was on the disabled list for a quad strain, and didn’t start Wednesday because of the wet field and to get “acclimated.”
Manager Mike Quade is using Blake DeWitt at second base today, with Jeff Baker on the bench. DeWitt will be batting his third against Brewers ace Zack Greinke.
