A fine crop of lads made up the Naperville High School boys basketball team as seen in this school photo for the 1929-30 academic year. Alas, their appearance may have belied their skills given that their record was not great — just four wins and 13 losses under the leadership of coach John Harshbarger. Their fortunes would improve the following year when they racked up a 10-win/4-loss record but it would be their last under Harshbarger’s leadership.
