2. Bartlett 23-10 (4): Josh Colaizzi and Vince Yario each drive in runs during the 15th inning of 2-1 win over South Elgin as the Hawks clinch Upstate Eight Conference title.
3. Yorkville 22-11 (6): Gabe Sanders strikes out 12 in complete-game effort for 2-0 shutout over Bolingbrook, setting stage for three-game sweep in Southwest Prairie West.
4. South Elgin 23-12 (2): The Storm drop 2-1 decision to Bartlett despite 24 strikeouts combined in 14 innings from Zacharia Barkho and Jonathan Niksich.
5. Jacobs 21-12 (8): Jace Koth goes 3-for-3 with two doubles and also tosses 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in 4-3 nonconference win at St. Charles North.
6. St. Charles East 21-13 (5): Illinois-Chicago recruit James Feigleson goes 4-for-4 with two doubles and Nathan Moline pitches five shutout innings in 10-0 win over Benet.
7. West Aurora 23-10 (3): Zach Toma hits homer and drives in three runs in 10-0 win over Larkin, then throws 6 1/3 solid innings in 6-5 loss to Glenbard East.
8. St. Charles North 20-12-1 (7): Landon Paul produces two doubles and Nolan Macholz adds two-run single in 13-8 win over Lake Park, part of three-game sweep in DuKane Conference.
9. Waubonsie Valley 18-11 (9): Jake Quinn, Satya Mehta and Jacob Reyes drive in two runs apiece for the Warriors in 9-5 win over Romeoville.
10. Kaneland 15-14-1 (10): Kanon Baxley goes 4-for-4 but takes the loss on mound in 6-4 setback to Ottawa, forcing the Knights to share Interstate Eight Conference title.
Player of the Week
Junior outfielder Kyle LaRose comes up big for St. Charles East, going 7-for-14 with five runs, two double, a homer and seven RBIs. He also strikes out eight over six innings in 1-0 loss to Neuqua Valley.
