Indians’ Chisenhall hits three homers
ARLINGTON, Texas — Cleveland Indians third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall hit three home runs and drove in nine runs through the first eight innings of Monday’s game against the Texas Rangers.
Chisenhall hit a two-run homer off Nick Martinez in the second inning, a two-run shot off Scott Baker in the fourth and a three-run homer against Baker in the eighth. They were his fifth, sixth and seventh long balls of the season.
He also hit an RBI single in the first inning and a run-scoring double in the sixth.
Cleveland led 17-7 heading to the ninth inning.
